Earl B. McElfresh is a renowned cartographer and Civil War map historian.

He has mapped over twenty battlefields for McElfresh Map Company. He is the author of Maps and Mapmakers of the Civil War (Abrams 1999) and is a frequent contributor to Civil War Times Magazine.
